Petroglyph String Quartet performs classical and contemporary works by the world’s greatest composers. Violinists Michael Allerheiligen and Yakima Fernandez, violist Karl Winkler and cellist Anastasia Nellos have performed with professional ensembles including Santa Fe Pro Musica, the Santa Fe Symphony, the New Mexico Philharmonic, the Southwest Symphony, and the San Juan Symphony. The Quartet is noted for innovative programs, energetic and thoughtful performances, and superb musicality, with recitals in Albuquerque at Robertson & Sons Violin Shop recital hall, in Rio Rancho at the Loma Colorado library arts series, in Santa Fe for the Southwest Arts recital Series, and in Durango, CO for the 3rd Avenue Arts recital series.
