Classic Film Series features movies that our fans wanted. This week, it’s the 1951 movie “Jim Thorpe: All American”, starring Burt Lancaster and Charles Bickford; directed by Michael Curtiz.
The movie is about the triumph and tragedy of Native American Jim Thorpe, who, after winning both the pentathlon and decathlon in the same Olympics, is stripped of his medals on a technicality.
